The architecture
Most AI analytics tools let the model compute your numbers — which means they sometimes get them wrong. Atrium separates the two jobs entirely.
Every metric is pre-defined: exact SQL expression, data source, valid range. Numbers are computed by BigQuery against your actual data — not estimated, not approximated, not generated by a language model.
When you ask a question, the model's only job is to understand what you want and select the right metric definitions. It maps natural language to a structured query — it never touches arithmetic.
Results pass through guardrail checks — out-of-range values, nulls, and data quality anomalies are caught server-side. You see the narrative only after the numbers have been validated.
Each organization gets a dedicated analytics dataset with row-level security enforced at the database layer — not just in application code. Your data is structurally isolated from every other tenant.
